Dr. Scott G. McLeod- Chiropractor

College:
Before setting up practice in Shelby Twp., Dr. Scott G. McLeod graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic with Cum Laude Honors in 1992. At that time, he received the highest graduating honor given, the distinguished Milton Garfunkel Award. This award honors the chiropractic student who exemplifies Chiropractic's ideals and demonstrates all-round outstanding achievement and is only given out to one graduate at any given commencement ceremony. This award entitled him to give the farewell address to his graduating class.

Honors and Achievements:
While in school, Dr. McLeod served as his class president as well as student body president. This entitled him to reign as president of the college's Chiropractic Student Government. At the same time, Dr. McLeod served as editor in chief as well as contributing writer of the school newspaper. He also met and conferenced with chiropractic students and chiropractors around the world while serving as a delegate for the World Congress of Chiropractic Students. Dr. McLeod was also elected to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was accepted in PI TAU DELTA, the International Chiropractic Honor Society.

Current Memberships:
Dr. McLeod is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic. He has been a Century Club member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors as well as a lifetime member of Integrity Management, a prestigious international chiropractic leadership organization.  He also is a member of Business Networking International.

Additional Works:
Shelby Township Chiropractor, Dr. Scott McLeod is both a best selling author and popular television host.  
Together with over 30 elite business professionals, Dr. McLeod co-authored the book Total Business Makeover.  Also, in the late 1990's and early 2000's, Dr. McLeod created, produced and hosted the popular Shelby Township Cable TV show "Back To Health".  Since that time, Back To Health has been revived and updated to become a popular Internet VLOG sensation.  Webisodes include topics about health and healthcare, as well as solutions to many of today's health problems and conditions.

 

 

Tami DeVerna-Office Manager

Tami has been a patient of McLeod Chiropractic in Shelby Twp. since 1995 along with her husband and 2 children.  She has been on staff here since 2003 and has worked in every department from reception, to insurance specialist and office manager. 

Since chiropractic has been a essential part of her wellness approach to life for over 26 years, Tami understands the real benefits of chiropractic care.

When you come into our office, Tami will greet you with a smile on her face and be able to answer any question you might have about insurance, paper work or chiropractic care in general.

Tami enjoys spending time with her family, reading, volunteering in the community and serving at her church.

 

 

 

 

Judy Bruce - Receptionist

Judy has been a patient at McLeod Chiropractic for several years before she started working here in August of 2020.  She has two boys who are also patients at McLeod Chiropractic.  Her family also enjoys the company of their Great Dane puppy named Raya.

When she's not working, Judy enjoys spending time with her family.  In her free time, she also enjoys bowling and playing pickle ball.  

Judy is also an avid Detroit sports fan, with her favorite team being the Michigan Wolverine football Team.

 

 

 

 

 

 Amanda Moehlman - Chiropractic Assistant 

Chiropractic has been part of Amanda's lifestyle for her entire life.  Growing up the daughter of Dr. McLeod, she has enjoyed living the chiropractic philosophy every day of her life with pride.

Amanda has been on staff with McLeod Chiropractic since 2021 and is proficient in all front desk duties, chiropractic X-Rays, Telehealth, and all patient advocacy roles.  She is also increasing her knowledge and abilities by apprenticing in billing and insurance.

Amanda takes her role at McLeod Chiropractic very seriously as it is not only a job to her, but it's her namesake as well!  Being Dr. McLeod's daughters, she loves being able to work under her father's wing.

On her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her loved ones.  She greatly enjoys being an Aunt to her Niece and two Nephews!
