Meet the Doctors

The doctors and staff of McLeod Chiropractic Center work as a team to provide chiropractic expertise as well as courtesy and compassion to all.

Dr. Scott G. McLeod


College:
Dr. Scott G. McLeod graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic with Cum Laude Honors in 1992. At that time, he received the highest graduating honor given, the distinguished Milton Garfunkel Award. This award honors the chiropractic student who exemplifies Chiropractic's ideals and demonstrates all-round outstanding achievement and is only given out to one graduate at any given commencement ceremony. This award entitled him to give the farewell address to his graduating class.

Honors and Achievements:
While in school, Dr. McLeod served as his class president as well as student body president. This entitled him to reign as president of the college's Chiropractic Student Government. At the same time, Dr. McLeod served as editor in chief as well as contributing writer of the school newspaper. He also met and conferenced with chiropractic students and chiropractors around the world while serving as a delegate for the World Congress of Chiropractic Students. Dr. McLeod was also elected to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was accepted in PI TAU DELTA, the International Chiropractic Honor Society.

Current Memberships:
Dr. McLeod is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic. He is also a ruling member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors and the Christian Chiropractors Association. Dr. McLeod is a member of Business Networking International (BNI) – Lifeline Chapter, as well as a lifetime member of Integrity Management, a prestigious international chiropractic leadership organization. He is also a member and worship leader of Discovery Church in Utica, MI.

Dr. Rene'e Smith

College:
Dr. Rene'e Smith graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 1998 with highest  honers, Summa Cum Laude.

Honors and Achievements:
During the graduation commencement, Dr. Smith received the 2 highest graduating honors given, the distinguished Milton Garfunkel Award and the BJ Palmer Philosophy Distinction Award. These awards honor the chiropractic student who exemplifies Chiropractic's ideals and demonstrates all-round outstanding achievement and is only given out to one graduate at any given commencement ceremony.  While in school, Dr. Smith served in the college's Chiropractic Student Government.

Current Memberships:
Dr. Smith is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic. As well as being a practicing chiropractor, Dr. Smith is a wife and mother of 3.  Her priority in life is to serve God, serve her family, and to serve mankind.  One example of her dedication to her family is her committment to homeschool her children.  She is a member of the LIFE Support Homeschool group in SE Michigan and a past Chairperson of American Heritage Girls, a Christian scouting troop.
